Razor - Tradish

Yeah... Don't mind the pencil scribbles... The scanner wouldn't scan straight so I had to keep putting more and more crap on the page to make it behave. And I can't be stuffed getting rid of it all in photoshop, so it was this or death-by-scanner, neither of which are desirable. As always, this looks so much better in real life (especially now that I got rid of the pencil marks).

It's Razor! I don't particularly like the drawing, but I love his leg mark and eye mark. His design's not too bad. His pink nose looks a little odd, I must admit, but it's part of the Cinder Wolf species.

He's Onyx coloured, and for a very good reason. I'll explain below.

Cinder Wolves tend to keep to their own colour group whilst looking for a mate because of cross-group genetic mutations that can quite often be fatal. The trouble with Rares is that the white colour variants if bred together (or Ivory to Ivory/White Blush to White Blush) can mutate into Fatal White Syndrome (yes, I know that exists in horses) and does so quite often. Therefore, the fast-learning Cinder Wolves tend not to do so. Razor and Misha are almost polar opposites in personality, and I wanted their colours to match that, so of course Razor had to be black. Rush coloured Cinder Wolves can be any colour (except green) with white markings, but Onyx CWs are black with white markings. And so Razor got Onyx.
